Coca of Trampó


















Good morning friends,

First of all I want to apologize for being disconnected for so long time. Today I am going to talk about a typical Mallorcan food such as "Coca de Trampó". This is an original Mallorcan recipe that is also widespread in the southern part of Catalonia and throughout the Valencian community. You can find many versions of coca, with different meats or cold meats, with tuna, wiht many vegetables and even with cheeseIn particular, the Trampó coca is made with a dough made from flour, egg, water, oil, butter and salt (as for the rest of cocas or salted cakes), while the special mix or touch of the Trampó provided by red peppers, tomatoes, onion, paprika, olive oil and salt. You can find this food in bakeries, as a first dish in some menus and on occasion or special celebrations, such as snacks, lunches or snacks.
